Contemporary, functional and clear forms. The designs by gmp (architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners) combine state-of-the-art technology with a sensitive approach to space and light, resulting in buildings that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Many of them mark milestones in the history of architecture - today gmp is one of the most important architectural firms in the world.
The façade design of the Prinz 17 project is based on the architecture of the traditional Kreuzberg commercial courtyards. The façade is characterized by a clear structure, recognizable load-bearing structure and generous window openings. In addition to the anodized aluminium windows, the defining materials in Prinz 17 are the concrete façade elements. The Prinz 17 design combines timeless elegance with modern style and creates a harmonious combination of tradition and innovation.
Building and Features
The building complex consists of three building blocks with a total gross floor area of almost 8,000 m²: Building I and II (office buildings) and Building III (business hotel). A spacious communal terrace for office tenants is equipped with benches and intensively planted islands. In addition, two green inner courtyards provide ideal recreational spaces, while the Fukagawaramen restaurant on the first floor offers a further opportunity for encounters. This promotes synergy effects, drives innovation and thus strengthens the competitiveness of our tenants. With 30 rooms for long and short stays, the business hotel is a first-class solution for office tenants to comfortably accommodate business partners and employees.

Competitive advantage through energy efficiency
Those who consume fewer resources and emit fewer emissions gain a cost advantage. The higher the price for emitting greenhouse gases, the greater this cost advantage becomes. Modern building technology sets contemporary energy standards and reduces heating costs.

Fail-safe Internet
In the digital world, a stable and reliable internet connection is essential. Internet outages can have a significant impact on business-critical applications. This is why redundancy plays a central role in networks: it ensures an automatic switchover to a backup connection in the event of a failure, allowing users to operate continuously and without delays.
